It's that time of year .... well okay that time of year every four years that the Olympics comes along, and to be fairdinkum I couldn't give a rat's arse about it. I'm not a big fan of watching blokes and sheilahs running about in cycles or throwing sticks into the air, and to be fairdinkum is Handball really a Olympic sport?... well okay it is but really!... well okay it is but lets just think of this for awhile, now the Olympics was started by those Roman blokes back yonks ago when they were all wearing skimpy robes and not much more. Now can you imagine someone like... say Samantha Riley swimming around in nothing but their birthday suit! Well okay I can...lets try another one .... okay can you imagine a bunch of roman athletes taking on.... say a gladiator in a match of friggin' Handball! Got my point, there's way to many sports that should'nt be in the Olympics, like Baseball, Softball, Handball, Basketball, Mountain bike riding, Cricket, Synchronized swimming.... wait a minute,i might not pick on synchronize swimming as i'm a bit of a fan of that one. Well come on give it a go hay, it takes those sheilahs a lot of physical training to keep there heads under water. And any water sport that keeps a sheilahs freckle above water level gets my thumbs up!
But there is some good points about the Olympics and I will be watching a few sports like these ones.....
Of cause being only the tenth signed up supporter of the Aussie Synchronize swimming team, I can say you go girls! And to give them a real beaut chance they have brought in one French sheilah and a Mexican one, too add to the Aussie hornbags like Sarah Bombell and Eloise Anberger.
And while were on the water sports don't forget the beaut Water polo womans team, players like 24 year old Brisbane girl Suzie Fraser (photo on left) this being here first Olympic Games i'm sure she'd love the support from all the Dougie Waters supporters club fans out their.
Next to have a gander at is the aussie girls diving team which has a diver called Sharleen Stratton this twenty year old also from Brisbane, is trying to grab her first Gold medal to go with the one she has from the Commonwealth Games. This is a photo of her doing a double-lindy with a half piked twist.
Next on the must see list comes the aussie volleyball team, which concise of Natalie Cook and Tamsin Barnett.
And here is Tamsin's freckle as this is how the sheilahs give their signals without the other girls seeing it, I think this one says 'hit the ball over the net' believe me you don't want to know what the one finger signal means!
Then we come to my favourite sport the aussie swimmers, which has a whole bunch of good looking sheilahs this year, like 22 year old Leisel Jones who's favourite race is the 100m and 200meter Breaststroke. So the two of us have something in common as i've been an old breaststroker from way back. And another thing is i'm not a big fan of this new one piece LZR SPEEDO BODYSUIT as I do believe it gives these swimmers an unfair advantage against the swimmers who can't afford them, but between you and me you can't really beat a two piece hay!
And then there's the sheilah that's always in the news Stephanie Rice, who is trying to win Gold in 400m and 200 meter Individual Medley and I reckon she'll run it in.... sorry swim it in easily mate.
Stephanie is also a sports model who loves getting into the news like when she wore a policewoman's uniform at a party, I reckon the only problem with that is we didn't get an invite to the party!
Fairdinkum there's some bloody dropkicks about hay, but now she's broken up with her better half she might have to get that uniform out of the bottom draw once she comes home with that Gold metal.
Strewth mate!
Then we come to my old favourite sports woman from a long way back, and that would be the one and only the Natalie Ward. Fairdinkum this Personal traininer still looks real beaut for a thirty two year old softball player, from my neck of the woods. That's right she is an old Lake Macquarie sheilah who has more caps for Australia then any other sheilah with more then 400 matches under her belt, and she's been around the block a few times as this is her fourth Olympic Games campaign. Over the years she was 3rd in Atlanta, 3rd in Australia and 2nd in Athens, so hopefully this will be the year for the aussie softball girls.
But like all good sportswoman she had to give the magazines a go, and she did a photoshoot for a sports mag (Thank you God) . As you can see she has a freckle as good as any
tennis player going round, and fairdinkum she's showing more delicious skin than Colonel Sanders. You little beauty!
So yes I will be having a squizz at some of the Olympics on the idot box but between you and me their better not be an episode of My names is Earl on the other channel, or it could be good night the fox Olympics!
